Friday 20th March saw the Company participate in the 82nd United Guilds Service. Of Second World War origin, the service was inaugurated in defiance of the heavy damage inflicted on the City by Luftwaffe bombing and soon became one of the highpoints of the Livery calendar. After the service, members of the Company dined with other Liveries at Wax Chandlers' Hall.
