On Tuesday 19th May, representatives of the Company in their capacity as Trustees of the Nepton Trust made the annual visit to St Margaret's Barking to lay a wreath at the tomb of Thomas and Ann Nepton. Thomas Nepton was a Poulter in the early 18th Century; he and his wife Ann left a legacy for the poor & needy of Barking which remains a force for good in the area to this day. This year over 100 individuals received a disbursement from the Nepton Trust, making their lives a little bit easier in these challenging times and honouring the wishes of a generous and far-sighted couple living 300+ years ago.
